Before founding Level Next, Joseph Baert was active in the corporate world for 15 years.
Besides a broad and international management experience at senior level, he was leading or actively involved in around 20 transactions, like the acquisition of a production site in Romania and the acquisition of Tampax by Procter & Gamble and the launch of Certipost, a Joint Venture between Proximus and Bpost.
His dedication for transactions has led to the founding of Level Next in 2012. He has thus turned his professional passion into his main profession.
Joseph is skilled at quickly understanding a business model and articulating the essence of a transaction in a succinct way. He is also an experienced and clever negotiator.

Prior to joining Level Next as partner in 2022 Klaas Dams gained extensive experience in investment banking and M&A.
Klaas started his career as economic advisor at Boerenbond, after which he became investment manager for a Belgian family-owned group.
In 2010 he joined Bank Degroof Petercam where he gained vast expertise in structured and corporate finance. He founded the bank’s Small-cap Transaction Advisory department which he successfully lead until he joined Level Next.
Klaas has been leading numerous M&A transactions such as the sale of Energreen to G&D Group/Hasco Invest, the sale of Tim Security to Varel Security and ING Private Equity, the sale of Leunen Orthopedie to Lagarrigue/Ardian (FR), the sale of V!GO to Ottobock (DE), and the merger between JCDecaux Billboards (FR) and Dewez.
His technical expertise, strategic way of thinking, and pragmatic approach are highly praised by clients and investors.
Klaas completed the following degrees:

Geneviève Wambacq joined Level Next as senior advisor in 2014.
Before joining Level Next, she worked for 14 years as an M&A advisor for a corporate finance consultancy firm and within a family office.
She has extensive experience in national and international transactions, financial reporting, guidance for enterprising families and negotiations with financial institutions.
Geneviève also worked at the research department of a bank and as an expert in quality systems.
Geneviève holds a Master in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven.
Geneviève is a member of a number of Board of Directors.

Toon Ramsdonck joined Level Next as an M&A analyst in 2020. As from 2024 he is an M&A associate at Level Next.
Toon complemented a Master’s degree in engineering with a postgraduate degree in corporate
finance. His expertise lies in financial modeling, valuations, business reporting, and data analysis.
Toon started his career as a portfolio analyst at a multi-family office, where he was responsible
for the financial reporting, control and client portfolio analysis. He later gained experience as a
business analyst for an international FMCG company, leader in its niche. Additionally, as a
business controller, Toon contributed to the merger of two hospital groups to form Belgium’s
largest patient care organisation.

Jens Vangronsveld joined Level Next mid 2025 as analyst after a six-month internship. Before joining Level Next, Jens got his first hands-on M&A experience during an internship at a smaller corporate finance boutique while he was combining this with a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification.
During his business engineering studies at KU Leuven, he participated in an Erasmus exchange at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM).

Level Next is a member of the Belgian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (BVA). This interest group counts over 120 members from the Belgian Private Equity and M&A industries.
